Looking for a good tattoo artist in Canada?
Hey everyone, I'm planning to get my first real tattoo soon and I'm a bit overwhelmed with all the options. I live in Ontario and want someone who's really skilled with fine line / minimalist designs (maybe some geometric or nature-inspired stuff). Does anyone have recent experience with artists or studios that do clean work without crazy prices? How do you even choose? Any recommendations or red flags to watch out for? Thanks!

I was in the same boat last year – first tattoo and super nervous about picking the right place. Ended up going with Icon Tattoo after reading a few real reviews and checking their Instagram portfolio. The artist I worked with (think it was Alex) did exactly the fine-line botanical piece I wanted, super clean lines and healed really nicely. Prices were fair for the detail level, not the cheapest but definitely not overpriced like some downtown spots. Their shop is in Toronto area.
